It felt very much like the movie “Midnight in Paris”, only this time it was an early morning in New York. Not only was I deeply drawn to this exquisite taste, but also couldn’t help but ponder about the founder, Louis-Ernest Laduree, writer, poet, social thinker and critic on political, social and religious dogma. I believe only such a creative mind could come up with a world renowned bakery – after all success is not a coincidence, and neither is luxury…
